I am delighted to announce that I have been asked to provide photographs for an exhibition in the popular children’s clothing shop in Bridge Street, Banbridge: Purple Strawberry Clothing!
Paula Chambers has spotted my recent work, especially the Mini Sessions, and loves my style, and so has approached me to collaborate on this venture.
So far I have prepared 7 prints for this, but could be doing with another 5.
The criteria is along the lines of bright / colourful / children / cute, and preferably with cute clothing as well. If YOU have a favourite from your recent shoot, why don’t you let me know – I may very well include it in the exhibition.

The first Mini Session last Sunday was a tremendous success. It was almost too sunny and warm, but we found shady areas under the trees and the peeps were generally laughing too much to notice they were being blinded by the sun.
There has been a lot of interest on our Mini Session albums on Flickr and Facebook. I have decided that I have to have at least four bookings in the day, so if anyone can rustle up friends, family, or colleagues to take the other slots I will open up more days for these special sessions.
Wanna see some montages?

I am about to launch a new type of photography session next week. I’m actually quite excited about it. So much so that I decided to try it out on my daughter Jessica when she was in the studio with me. Here is what I had to listen to:
“Sighhhh. Do I HAVE to?”
“Groan, do I have to move from the couch?”
“I have to go OUTSIDE?”
Don’t try to make me smile – I know all your ploys.”
“Mummmmmmmmyyyyy I am BORED with this now.”
“Is it over YET?”

Oh So Bored
Now you know why I photograph YOUR children, it’s because I simply can’t get a smile out of my own.
Watch this space for more details about the new Mini Sessions that we are launching next week.
For a long time now I have been meaning to offer name montages but I kept forgetting to announce them.
Well, they are here at long last!

Name Montages
As with the keyrings, these are now available for all clients, even if your gallery has expired. Simply email or phone us and we will arrange for your gallery to go live again, allowing you to pick which photos you would like included.
The studio was taken by storm this week when one of my best friends, Becky, came for a shoot with her four children. Her eldest, Emily, was my first ever client, and if you ever visited the old premises you may remember a large print of her, standing holding her dress out. She’s a lot more grown up these days!
Becky now has twins Olivia and Thomas, and baby Sam.
Thank goodness I had Pamela with me on work experience. She was a great help with entertaining the waiting children while Becky and I concentrated on taking individual photos of each child. I am fairly certain Pamela has never encountered so many questions in rapid succession like that before!
On with the Sneak Peek!

Aren’t they gorgeous?!
