Maaike’s friend Siobhan very kindly invited us along to a wonderful photographic opportunity a couple of weeks ago at the old abandoned Lotus shoe factory near The Outlet. We spent a couple of hours in the abandoned premises after being shown around. For the first while we were there diggers were still working at demolishing certain parts of the building so the timing couldn’t have been any better. A couple of days later I noticed that a whole section of building where we had been was completely gone.
I really enjoy this kind of photography so have taken the time to make a book out of some of the photographs I took. It is being printed at the moment and will be with me in a few weeks.
I’m hoping to make another book from the photos I took at a friend’s farm recently. Watch this space!
